Murphy von Montag is a gorgeous 3 year old German Shepherd with a touch of Husky. People often stop to ask the name of this cutie pie with the wide smile. Murphy is mid-energy and at the perfect age of having the energy to keep up but not always being on the move. He never pulls on leash, although sometimes he ends up tangling himself up and then looks at you for help. Sweet Murphy loves to explore his surroundings and seems very independent. He also meets dogs well on leash, not paying much attention to them. Murphy is confident and gets comfortable immediately in new situations, and our kennel workers refer to him as that “wonderful boy.” In his playgroups, he can meet dogs rather pushily and would be better paired with a submissive female, if there is another dog in the home. If you have room for a sweetheart whose smile is as big as his heart, come down and ask for Murphy. Oh, and he LOVES LOVES LOVES to play ball so stock up on the tennis balls!
